JUNE

May is already heating up, 27 to 30 deg days and 22 deg nights; what will June bring?

To get the town events side of things out of the way:

Saturday and Sunday 9 & 10th there is a volleyball competion at Nartelle beach
and from the 14 to the 31st there is an animal sculpture exhibition, in wood, by Jurgen Lingl Rebetez, at the Espace des Arts. I will have found out where that is by the time you get here!

Wednesday 21st there is a Fete de la Musique, a concert by Gabriel RIOS. 21.30 hours at the prominade's Theatre de la mer; entrance FREE
This is followed on the 22nd by a Jazz evening, same time same place and again, free
Same location, same time, the next night is a GALA de DANSE, put on by the Maxi Gym
and on Sunday 24th is the Fete de la St JEAN. Free lampions (candle lamps) are being given out at 8.30 at the Marie, followed at 9pm by a parade of light, ending inthe Feu de la St Jean on the main beach.
Fireworks are at 10.30pm, followed by music at the Theatre de la Mer.
Sunday there is the BEACH RUGBY final, which in fact starts on the Friday
Get famous, be seen on TV; it is going to be on Eurosport.

Mas de Jas Roberts 7.30 to13.00hrs on the road from Port Grimaud to Grimaud Castle
Where as a trip to the boot sale near GRIMAUD is an entirely different experience. Every Sunday morning with a mixture of quality artifacts and traditional boot sale junk
It also has a pretty good restaurant

This month things continue to jump up, including this little fellow;
may he survive the experience of being added to our childrens menagerie

And this week we have just installed, for our guests at the house apartment, a digibox to receive the main UK TV channels
